A backyard that functions as an outdoor extension of their house, is how the client sees the space. A place to relax in a hot-tub, a place for a quiet tête-à-tête, a place to cook, a place to gather around and share, a place to entertain.

• Transform the backyard into an outdoor living space
• Add a water feature with loud but pleasing sounds
• Create separate areas for cooking, dining and relaxing
• Disguise the unsightly concrete retaining wall
• Enclose a hot-tub area for soaking and exercise
• Connect all landscape elements cohesively
• Reduce or remove lawn, explore artificial lawn options
• Add color thru the seasons, from bloom and foliage
• Screen the rough, weedy edges of the natural areas
• Design a layered planting plan to create a relaxing atmosphere
